Second Chance Agency Day 0General: General Guy Main Captain: Yin-Yarn Messenger: Ridley Base: Star Haven Base Defenses:Star Storm Crystal (40 Days)Alliances: None Enemies: None ====================================================Enslaved Adopted Star Kids: 0 Battle Points: 0 Troops:2,000 Shy Guys (basic unit) 2,000 Space Pirates (ranged unit) 1,000 Yarn Waddledees (support unit) Total: 5,000 Troop Equipment/Abilities:None ====================================================War Machines:None Artifacts:None ====================================================Projects:(0/100) Obtain the Star Rod (Artifact: Grants a wish that varies by user[50 being done via quest]) (0/40) Imbue troops with phazon (All-around upgrade) (0/30) Tame the Terrorist Imps (Uber Unit) (0/20) Aerial Upgrade (Troops get their flying form) Completed Projects: Why would you look here?
Factories: None ====================================================Log: Star Haven had been taken by many enemies in the past, but nowadays it served as a rehab center for war veterans while the Star Spirits purged their sanctuary of Shy Guy blood and repaired damage caused by X-Nauts. Shy Guy #7219 had been through a lot in his young life. When General Guy had become their leader to protect them from bullies back in the old days, everything was fine and peaceful. But then he got bigger ideas in his head. Soon General Guy assembled more Shy Guys, and they endured many brutal experiences throughout their lives. They had been sieged by communists forces further than the eye could see. A Yeti had come and brutally beat them to death with their own limbs. Koopas, creatures from the moon, vicious bloodsucking pirates... He'd seen it all. But then they had been wiped out to near-extinction. With the Shy Guys gone, the survivors went off and had some peaceful few years. But even then they faced more problems. A psychotic toad started rounding them up all, turning them into monstrosities. He figured he was the only one who survived; the toad in question went an an assault against Glitz Pit before he was experimented on, and the freaks there overpowered their captors. Even then troubles weren't over. If it wasn't bad enough that only a handful of non-savage Shy Guys were left, General Guy had reappeared and took over Toad Town, weaponizing anything in reach. One day a band of hostile Goombas appeared in what resembled the Shroob Mothership. They blasted the tribute to their old home in a matter of minutes. Seizing the opportunity, he fled the scene of destruction. Many of the others were in the room; an Imp who had nearly been drowned by his leader, and had been forced into learning terrorism. There was a great many Koopas and Monty Moles. Even a clown that appeared to be headless was there. And like the fateful day years ago in Toad Town, the wall of the sanctuary burst as a jumble of colorful blocks came trundling in. Most of the Koopas screamed and hit the deck. The Monty Moles fled and the headless clown ran right off the edge of Star Haven, plummeting to the ground hundreds of feet below as he had done once before. Shy Guy #7216 knew right then and there that his life would be forever plagued by his insane leader. General Guy climbed out as the engine of the Toy Tank sputtered to a halt. "Why does this keep happening? I built this just to bust down walls." "So... Can I be your second in command, please?" The voice emanated from what looked like a fishbowl under the crook of General Guy's arm. This seemed to enrage him. "After all you've done? You're lucky I don't roast you alive! At least Ridley can provide some pirates. I think he's busy eating all the star kids. You see, that's a real demon." "But... I sunk my base, that's pretty scary, right?" "That's just stupidity. The yarn guy is an idiot, but at least he's useful." General Guy glanced around at the damage he caused, as well as the Imp flinging exploding feces outside. He could hear star kids screaming outside as Space Pirates blasted them out of the air. Hopefully they didn't kill all of them; he'd need some slaves to man his future factories. Didn't matter. He was going to be the one granting wishes now, and he had his own desire in mind. With a casual kick, Yami was nearly sent spinning off the edge. "Okay, I get it. You need some time to think things over. Amaterasu be with yo-" "Just... shut up." --- I'm actually writing a quest for this army. I guarantee that I'll see it through. And I'm portraying Yami as a religion-confused wimp. My uber troops are also Imps that have become terrorists. Please direct all hate towards Hippo for teaching his troops the Terrorist Song and having Yami say "God." *cut to a scene with a Shy Guy with a fishbowl in his arms, flying to Star Haven on a skeletal pterodactyl with a dark Swooper and a Toad lacking arms. * "So... as I was saying, I can be your second-in-command, please?" The Shy Guy looked enraged. "You nearly wrecked everything, you insufferable... thing! It's a miracle you didn't kill us all!" "But those other guys, they're almost dead, right? Who else will step up?" "Someone that hasn't been a bigger failure than you. Just because I'm leading castaways and misfits to victory doesn't mean you get to do anything important." After blasting a few comets that conjured out of the air, Ridley landed. It seemed Star Haven was deserted. Didn't matter; he would be the one granting wishes now. Suddenly a thread of yarn appeared out of midair and formed the outline of a wizard. General Guy sighed. Yin-Yarn again. "Howdy there. We might've gotten off to a bad start... but hey, we failed to kill each other, so that makes us like brothers. Or neighbors." At least he was better than the fish thing. He tossed Yami aside, nearly causing him to plummet thousands of feet. "Okay boss, I get it. You need to think things over. Amaterasu be with you-" "Just... shut up." ---

Star Rod, Granter of Desires (General Guy)
There has been few usages of the Star Rod, but it is a source of immense power. Once a battle, it is capable of granting a wish that reflects the user's ambitions. Only the deepest desires are granted; you may be on the verge of death, but survival hasn't exactly been your life's goal, has it? Effects such as boost in strength only last a single update, While it varies by users, these are it's effects when used by Second Chance's high personnel:
Star Rod, Granter of Desires (100 Days)
There has been few usages of the Star Rod, but it is a source of immense power. Once a battle, it is capable of granting a wish that reflects the user's ambitions. Only the deepest desires are granted; you may be on the verge of death, but survival hasn't exactly been your life's goal, has it? All effects fade after one update, though. While it varies by users, these are it's effects when used by Second Chance's high personnel:
Major Captains: General Guy: No longer leader of the Shy Guy Army, he'll do his best to lead these losers to victory. General Guy will be able to control every troop in Second Chance at once, making their functionality something to be feared. Werman: Soon, the world shall be purged of these cretins. Acid rain will fall on the battlefield and drain enemies of their lives. Infini T.: To understand the composition of everything... Then throw all the laws out the window. An amalgam that would shame MissingNo. will run rampage through the battle, bringing disorder and unpredictability with it. Yami: Once again becoming the Lord of Darkness, Yami will plunge the battlefield into a deep fog which his minions can run free through. Yin-Yarn: A cast-off villain, never making it big. Well, with this, Yin-Yarn will be the biggest thing on the battlefield, becoming the size of a giant battleship.
Minor Captains: King Boo: If Charlie Sheen can be winning, so can he. With luck that'll shame a leprechaun, his hax will be insane; weapons missing, doors conveniently being unlocked, artifacts carelessly left out in the open... Ancient Minister: Why must we all fight? All fighting will temporary cease, giving us time to make a break for it. Rawk Hawk: It ain't a real battle until the enemies FEEL the RAWK! Gaining immense durability, Rawk Hawk will engage battle with a single foe and can even combat a hero, but despite all the flashy action, the enemy will take almost no damage, though they won't be able to shake Rawk Hawk easily. Luigi: The Green Thunder strikes like lightning! Almost opposite of Rawk Hawk, Luigi becomes Mr. L and gains the Brobot, which is capable of wrecking havoc on opposing machines. Adeleine: There needs to be more beauty in the world. Utilizing the Star Rod like a paintbrush, she doodles a colorful star in the sky, that shortly crashes to the ground and explodes in a supernova of elements.
Ambassadors: Ridley: He's a commander, gosh darnit! He deserves respect, if even as an intergalactic bounty hunter! Ridley will gain immense durability and will zero in on a target, being able to capture officers with relative ease. Spiro: Look at all these monsters, ravaging the land... Focusing his energies, a forest sprouts up on the battlefield, being a hindrance to forces. Dark Koopatrol: Good thing he got all his chili out of- WOAH WHERE'D THOSE THINGS COME FROM? For every troop on the battlefield, a Puni appears, which, by itself, isn't even noticeable, their only saving grace is that they're immune to most indirect forms of damage. But when there's thousands of 'em swarming towards you...
Xaosologos, Book of Creation (Werman) -Information on everything -Predicts an enemy's strategy -Changes property of an object -Captures enemies
Chronus, Fist of Ages (Infini T.) -Can banish an object to the future -Slows/speeds present -Pulls something from the past -Restores something to prior condition

Infini T. (100 Days)
Once general of an army comprised of genetic mutates, Infini T. quite enjoys seeing the results of his experiments. He has a robotic arm capable of injecting any sentient creature with microscopic robots that alter their genetic code and causes rapid acceleration of- eh, doesn't anyone really care about sci-fi descriptions? Injected troops will mutate and have enhanced primary traits, such as a Koopa get spiked shells, or a Goomba getting an iron head. These troops will go berserk and attack friend or foe, though they will never attack Infini T. Upgrade: We've taken the liberty of enhancing his mutated arm. Now his arm can conduct signals that- eh, I'm bad at sci-fi stuff anyways. His tentacle can hack into machines are control them.
Werman (100 Days)
Werman's been pretty downcast since he lost his book. But that doesn't mean he can't preform some of his own tricks. As a stereotypical species of bat, he draws blood from his enemies to provide some healing. But his real specialty lies in absorbing knowledge. For every creature he kills, he also gains their knowledge, providing him with information on their weaknesses, and in some cases, their strategy. Upgrade Not content with his limited knowledge, Werman now skills in scrying, able to locate valuable and notable people and objects. Good luck surprising him.
Yami (50 Days)
Supposedly the lord of darkness, this wimp doesn't no what to believe or what to do. Although he lacks direct combat abilities, he rolls incredible fast, and can slap troops with various religious books. Despite what it may seem, this actually has a surprising effect on troops. They lose their memory and become skilled in a random profession. Arsonist: Troops will inexplictably gain the ability to cause fire and will run about settling stuff aflame. Nerds: Enemies will desire to know how machines work. They'll start dismantling anything they can lay their hands on. Nudists: They gotta let the world see the gift they were given. Troops wearing clothes will discard them, generally scarring anyone to gaze upon them. Terrorists: The urge to destroy fills them. Troops gain the ability to explode, and will try to hijack machines and crash them.
Yin-Yarn (50 Days)
The infamous wizard of Patchland, Yin-Yarn is a wizard made completely out of yarn, and as you would imagine, has made him a poor choice for combat. However, he's capable of quilting things in an instant, being able to repair damage done to structures, machines, etc. given enough time.

UWM: Leviathan Battleship
The Leviathan Battleship is like no other. It isn't a giant warship of death, nor is it some cranky old man with the powers of a god. It hasn't a single gun on it's surface, and it's purpose isn't to transport or even survive. No, it instead fuses with your base. The Leviathan Battleship is basically a seed, it's purpose to spread phazon corruption throughout a base. Unless action is taken, your troops will slowly succumb to the phazon being pumped by this armored creature. As powerful as it sounds, it has no way of defending itself against enemy fire, and has to rely on our troops to defend it. It can part prematurely, but then any damage it caused to the base will disappear shortly after.
UWM: Retribution
Some of the captains couldn't part with their old armies entirely. Banding together, they constructed a patchwork monstrosity created from several machines, most prominently The Toybox, Tectonic and Mobile Island.
UWM: Game Guy
Ah, the old Shy Guy captain. Sent to a RE and murdered viciously, then brought back from the afterlife in the most painful way possible, only to die again by a person who shall not be appearing in this description... Good times. But the sour old soul has other ideas in mind. In our hunts for fallen generals, we've come across countless UWMs, and Game Guy has the unfortunate tendency to control machines. But it's alright, because he's been reprogrammed to take his rage out on enemies. Now he's a big 'ol conglomerate of things.
Leviathan Battleship: Now this is a curious machine. It appears to be organic in nature with some machine-like qualities. There isn't a single firearm on it's surface. This comprises his main body, and is essentially a giant alien squid probe. It's constantly surrounded in a cloud of concentrated phazon, ready to corrupt the bodies and minds of anyone unfortunate enough to get near it. But what's more is that he can plop down somewhere where it'll really hurt the enemy. After a while of immobility, it builds up and spreads out, leaving lasting damage to the foundation of the base. Lavalava Volcano: (head) Subspace Gunship: (right arm) Tectonic: (legs)

Technological Terrors and Arcane Anomalies
Captains
Infini T.
Formerly known as San T. for a brief period, he soon disappeared into the unknown as many armies have. Returned to a significant position in Second Chance, Infini T. was given the opportunity to regain his strength. After a long period of service to Second Chance, he left for a variety of reasons to pursue the restoration of his previous army, and not simply fade into the void again. While he won't give so much as a second thought to experiments that ordinary people believe abhorrent, his mental state is far from crazy. He doesn't display much emotion, but at heart he's a Toad of science and doesn't do acts merely for cruelty or amusement like Werman might. As for physical appearance, Infini T.'s arms are the most significant aspects. His right has been replaced by a robotic arm loaded with nanobots specifically designed to alter biological structure, allowing mutation in creatures that they're injected into. At it's present state they're inert. His left is a mutated limb created with the other, capable of emitting a clear fluid that conducts signals from his body that gives him control of machines as if they were a part of him. But as with the other arm, it's currently incapable of such abilities.
Werman
Once an officer of Subterranean Strike, he began as a lowly Swooper with grand ambitions. Slowly rising in status thanks to active manipulation from a position of mere messenger, his power didn't last long as Subterranean Strike was soon crushed and he suffered a death by corrupted corpses. But prepared as always, he was ready to make the most of death and as he died he used his powers to communicate with banished gods, who granted him a powerful book of magic which he calls the Xaosologos. (Everyone else refers to it as Codex or something along those lines because people find it unpronounceable.) A series of events prior to him joining Second Chance resulted in the loss of most of it's pages, rendering it near useless in it's present state.
