My Greatest Challenge Yet

Idea 1:

King Boo can scare them all, Yin-Yarn ties a bomb to their leader, Kirby swallows all the captains and runs

Idea 2:

Rawk Hawk can go ahead and lay a trap with cakes. Kirby can eat the cake and start making a mess, distracting them.

Idea 3:

Rawk Hawk and Applejack work together to lay a trap. Applejack gives him a ton of seeds, then he intercepts the force and distract them with friendly juggling. Meanwhile, Rawk Hawk goes on ahead and layers the area with cakes that have appleseeds in them, which should kill the troops after a bit.

Idea 4:

Rawk Hawk layers cake again. But this time, he gives them to my captains. They'll start making a mess everywhere, which should buy time for General Guy to come in.

Idea 5:

Black Jewel turns all the corpses into Magons to hold off the force on the road. Meanwhile, General Guy flies to the captured captains and starts reading from Luigi's Diary. When he gets close, he'll use the Subspace Box. That should send the troops far away, while only their captain and mine remain close. Then I kill him. No hostage business like he had done. Quick and dead.

In the event my army returns:

First off, as soon as the force returns the Mysterious Sign Painter will communicate to General Guy that the captains have been captured. (he was in the Observatory buried among Star Kids, since that's where artifacts are stored. Seems I left him out from the final draft of Serious Business. Geez, that battle was a mess.)

Black Jewel will also go to work. He'll turn the corpses into Magons to slow down the force trying to enter via Star Road. Terrorist Imps will also get to work and start flinging explosives onto the road to knock them off. Shy Guys will also blow up their pool toys and pile it around where Star Road enters Star Haven. All troops will pretty much just open fire onto the road.

Rawk Hawk will have a mission. He'll pursue the assassins from a distance, and use his sparkling smile to briefly send up a signal to the location so General Guy will know where he is. Afterwards, he'll get into the Christmas Tree to assure he's unseen and make his way to the Star Road. He'll use his dazzling smile to blind troops coming up the road.

Captain Applejack will borrow a few cakes along the way, and make his way to the Star Road. He'll stick appleseeds into cakes and start juggling apples, relying on his Aura and the temptation of the cakes to distract them. Once Oberjarl comes by he'll probably attack, so he'll lob all his apples at the ground near him to lift him off his feet and spray the oncoming crowd with appleseeds.

General Guy has more important work. With the aid of Batadons and the Dark Star to surround him in darkness, they'll carry his tank to the location Rawk Hawk signals. When he nears the troops, he'll perch on the edge of his tank and throw down a Subspace Box. This should send the troops far away, but keep the captains close. Kirby will also suck up his fellow captains into his stomach so they don't get spread out.

Once that's executed, General Guy will get Kirby into the Toy Tank, post-haste. Then he'll turn his attention to the enemy captain, to be electrocuted immediately and mercilessly. He'll collect his essence in a Star Card and turn his attention to Star Road.

When General Guy gets to Star Road, Rawk Hawk and Captain Applejack will back off and get in the Toy Tank to help guard Kirby. General Guy will then engage Oberjarl in combat.

SHOULD MY ARMY NOT ARRIVE IN TIME:

Yarn Waddle Dees will pretend to be stray socks all over Star Haven, ready to act if their captains are in trouble.

Captain Applejack and Rawk Hawk shall team up and go after the captains. Captain Applejack, with the aura of friendliness, will attempt to make conversation with the vikings. Rawk Hawk will have given him a cake, which he should have ejected with seeds. He'll give it to their leader in a gesture of good will. Rawk Hawk will also have told 500 Star Kids to assist him and work up a sob story.

Cap'n Applejack will then tell him his story about what happened to him while juggling apples. If he manages to make it that far, and should the enemy captain eat the cake, then the rapidly growing tree should kill him from the inside while he also gets a large case of diarrhea. If that happens, he'll toss his apples at surrounding enemy groups while Star Kids surround the captains.

Should he refuse the cake, he'll try to distract them with their tale anyways. If they're successful distracted, King Boo will try to slip away by sinking into the ground with his ghostly powers. (It should be dark enough that if they're distracted, they shouldn't notice his transparency missing) Yin-Yarn will also pretend to be a sock with the Yarn Waddle Dees, should they be near any. If they start getting the urge to leave or kill the captains, he'll ask them if they're any good with arrows and ask them to hit an apple he hurls up into the air, which should promptly explode and spray them with applejuice, which shouldn't help with vision very much.

Rawk Hawk will go with a band of Batadons. When he receives a message from the Mysterious Sign Painter who will be observing Applejack, he'll try to listen to the location of Applejack's apples going off. Batadons will then hammer into the foundation trying to break it, if not at least shake up the ground.

If they manage to burst the ground, the Star Kids will catch all the captains and fly them to safety while Rawk Hawk starts blinding everyone with his smile. If the ground doesn't break but is only shaken up, well, Yami's turn.

Yami will be in the Christmas Tree, sneaking along with Captain Applejack, which Captain Applejack will also use for a presentation. He'll try to subtlety sneak closer to the captains. He'll try to get close to Kirby and get him ungagged. If unnoticed, Kirby will hop inside the tree and start sucking up other captains quietly, all-out once they're noticed.

If noticed, Yami will spring out and attack their leader, turning their leader into a nudist by hitting them with Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which should help spread confusion. And then he'll try to roll away into a nearby water source, and start hitting with the guide more if he can't.

From there, Star Kids will airlift the tree elsewhere while Applejack grabs on and fires apples below.


AND I GUESS TROOPS MATTER TOO

If the Mysterious Sign Painter hasn't had a use up until this point, he'll send a message to the enemies on Star Road telling them to proceed carefully and not to lose their balance, which should slow them down slightly. Space Pirates will then take over from there and begin barricading themselves at the road, since if they die they'll just leave poison in their place. They'll also open firing with their rifles of course.

Gohmalings will also pick up Space Pirate corpses and start throwing them onto Star Road, which should start causing some to mutate. They'll also fire with webs where projectile users are greatest.

Shy Guys will fly around and hold pool toys in front of them, which projectiles will likely catch on.
